Manchester Trip

One lone Whip member travelled north to revisit the scene of a number of whips around the turn of the century. The full report is to follow, but an early bulletin reports sightings of full down-on-knees leanback air guitar, muscle T-shirts tucked into blue denim and a full light blue denim suit in Jilly's Rockworld, proof that this mecca of rock is still firmly rooted in the 80s!

Rock City - The Rig

News from Rock City - The Rig (the venue of choice for the Vodka Whip), is currently closed for refurbishment. It seems the legendary DJ Dave (who can be persuaded to slot in a bit of cock from time to time), is sharing duties in the basement for the time being.

We are sure that normal service will be resumed shortly, shiny new toilets are promised!

Keith Baxter 1971-2008 R.I.P.

Vodka Whip is saddened to hear of the death of Keith Baxter on Friday 4th January. Keith was the drummer with Skyclad and 3 Colours Red as well as a short stint helping out Therapy?.

Condolences go to his family and friends.
